Summary
In the recent past: Tik-Tok gains further influence and resources by mingling with high society and the press, and also by becoming a corporation. His robot gang joins forces with the Jord Family to commit extravagant crimes; later, working alone, Tik-Tok experiments with committing a long series of secret crimes against one victim.
In the more distant past: Tik-Tok has joined up with the hijackers, but the ship seems to be doomed, so they settle down to tell stories and Tik-Tok learns what became of the Culpeppers. At the last minute, the travelers are saved when they realize the ship never left Earth in the first place.
