Though Bad Mercy has been replaced by Weaping (weeping), we will later encounter Good Mercy. Note that the fate of Bad Mercy—plundered and destroyed, then replaced by agriculture—is the same as what happened to Littl Salting, an event that Goodparley's regime did its best to cover up.
